This policy describes how the personal data of people visiting pariani.dev or sending a request through the contact form is processed.
1. Data controller
The data controller is Paolo Pariani. He can be contacted using the form available in the Contact section of the website.
2. Data processed
The form may collect full name, company, email address, subject and message content. Company information is optional; the other fields marked as required are necessary to handle the request.
The systems serving the website may also process technical data required for communication and security, such as IP address, request date and time, requested URL, browser and operating system.
3. Purpose and legal basis
Data submitted through the form is processed to respond to requests, assess potential collaborations and carry out pre-contractual activities requested by the data subject. The legal basis is the performance of pre-contractual measures taken at the data subject’s request and, for website security and proper operation, the controller’s legitimate interest.
Data is not used for newsletters, profiling or automated promotional communications.
4. Processing methods and retention

The website and form are hosted by Netlify. Requests are processed through Netlify Forms and may be forwarded to the email service used by the controller. These providers process data as necessary to deliver their services.
Cloudflare provides the Web Analytics service used to obtain aggregated statistics about website usage and performance.
When a provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, the transfer is based on the safeguards required by applicable law. Data is neither sold nor publicly disclosed.
6. External services and cookies
The website loads typefaces through Google Fonts. During this request, Google receives technical data, including the IP address, required to deliver the resources. Google states that Fonts does not set cookies or use this information for profiling or targeted advertising.
The website uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to collect aggregated visit and performance statistics. According to the provider’s documentation, the service does not use cookies or browser local storage and is not used to identify or profile visitors. The website does not use advertising cookies or profiling systems.
Links to external websites, such as LinkedIn, are subject to their respective operators’ policies once opened by the visitor.
7. Data subject rights
Where provided by law, data subjects may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction or objection to processing, as well as data portability. Requests can be sent to the controller through the contact form, stating that they concern privacy.
A complaint may also be lodged with the Italian Data Protection Authority through garanteprivacy.it.
